Canada is a popular destination among Indian students for their higher education. The world class universities with their state of the art facilities attract many international students. A partnership between the Association of Canadian Community Colleges and the Canadian Visa Offices in India has designed a Student Partnership Program; commonly known as SPP. It was launched in 2009 and a large number of Indian students have applied to Community colleges in Canada under this program.
The eligibility criteria to apply under the SPP are as follow:
- You should not have taken a gap of more than five years for your studies
- Your IELTS scores should not be older than two years and you should have a score of 6.0 and above
- You need minimum 50% marks in the degree that you’ve recently completed
- You have to show proof of funds that cover 80% of your costs in Canada
- You have to pay the tuition fees of the first semester
- You should not have more than 8 back logs in your previous studies
